The PK CX215-60 narrow coverage, self-powered, two-way loudspeaker offers precise high output capability in a compact, efficient enclosure. Each powered cabinet houses a high-efficiency 1500W class-D amplifier with built-in DSP. Innovative post-filter feedback class-D topology achieves ruler-flat frequency response, low distortion and high damping across the audio band. These amplifiers use the latest generation power MOSFET transistors and highly optimized output stage for up to 95% efficiency, allowing quiet fan- less operation. The high-frequency section consists of a 3″€ titanium diaphragm compression driver coupled to a 60/—40 rotatable horn with outstanding pattern control. A 1200W high power 15″ low/mid transducer with a 4″ voice coil and an extremely powerful external neodymium magnet assembly assure high flux concentration, low power compression and excellent heat exchange, allowing for seamless midrange and extended low-frequency response. Convenient quick fly rigging provides efficient, arrayable flown configurations. The cabinet is constructed from 100% void-free Baltic birch and coated in the industry’s toughest EXLPolyurea finish. Perforated metal black grills lined with acoustic black foam further enhance the weather resistant properties of double-treated transducer cones.
